西宮能楽堂がある場所は、高砂の物語にも出てくる兵庫県西宮市「鳴尾」の地にあります。
めでたく縁起のよい土地に建てられた西宮能楽堂。そして能舞台は、神様が降臨するとされている神聖な場所です。
Far off the coast of Naruo
The Nishinomiya Noh Theater is located in Naruo, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, which also appears in the story of Takasago.
Nishinomiya Noh Theater was built on an auspicious site. The Noh stage is a sacred place where the gods are said to descend.
観世流の名門 梅若家。
能楽の元祖は猿楽。934（承永4）年に丹波猿楽の梅若座を構え現在に至ります。
猿楽は、丹波地方が発祥であり、西宮能楽堂がある地域なのです。
Kanze style Umewaka family.
The origin of Nohgaku is Sarugaku. In 934 (Joei 4), we established the Tanba Sarugaku theater Umewakaza, which continues to this day.
Sarugaku originated in the Tamba region, where the Nishinomiya Noh Theater is located.

Nishinomiya Noh Theater is a Noh theater that opened in 2017 in Naruo-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

制作にはヨーロッパ、アジア、そして日本の学生を中心にヒアリングを行い、色やスタイル、材料を厳選いたしました。
高砂の舞台でもある鳴尾の地に存在する「西宮能楽堂」のこれからを表現するとともに常にあらたに進化し続ける「能」を現しております。
西宮能楽堂から日本の伝統を世界に伝える活動を応援しています。

As a new attempt, we are creating designs that go beyond established concepts and incorporate designs from a global perspective.
During the production process, we interviewed students from Europe, Asia, and Japan, and carefully selected the colors, styles, and materials.
It expresses the future of Nishinomiya Noh Theater, located in Naruo, which is also the stage for Takasago, and represents the ever-evolving form of Noh.
We support activities that convey Japanese tradition to the world from Nishinomiya Noh Theater.
